Canvas Rebel Interview

Happy Thursday!

Before we head into the weekend, I wanted to share some news from the studio with you. I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Canvas Rebel and the founders of VoyageLA for an interview, where I shared more about my business, what inspires my creative process, and some advice I’ve picked up along the way. You can check out the full by clicking the link below.

Cheers,
Forrest

Forrest Elliott

Forrest Elliott is a contemporary painter whose work explores the dynamic relationships between colors and how they are translated through the act of seeing onto a two-dimensional surface. Guided by both intuition and a deep connection to color, his paintings often emerge through an intuitive painting process that invites presence, trust, and creative flow.

He received his B.F.A. from the University of New Hampshire with a minor in History, and his work has been featured in Clover + Bee, DesignSponge, and Studio Visit, among other publications.

In addition to his painting practice, Forrest offers Reiki Healing & Intuitive Painting Sessions and Intuitive Painting Retreats & Workshops that merge energy work with the creative process helping individuals reconnect with their inner voice, release creative blocks, and translate personal energy into visual form. He is also the co-curator at Blue Door Gallery in York, Maine, and works as a creative consultant and interior designer for private clients and non-profits. This multidisciplinary approach allows him to bring a refined sense of color, composition, and atmosphere to both visual art and interior spaces.

Forrest is represented by Blue Door Gallery in York, Maine, Kennedy Gallery, and Nahcotta in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. His work is held in private collections across the United States and internationally, including Balmain, NSW, Australia, and Hong Kong, China.

He currently works full-time from his home studio in York, Maine.
